This download is another stupid one...back when we first started we did a song called andy's # 2 (yes it got written between andy's # 1 and andy's # 3) the thing about the James' # 1 - 90000 and Coirin's # 1 - 300 is that they are sung by the person in the title, for andy's # 2 this wasn't the case, it was instead sung about the person in the title, the idea was to annoy andy crisp a bit whilst playing it, celebrate his super-hearo level drum skills, and maybe make him make a mistake in the process. But when crisp left and nazer arrived we still carried on playing it, but now it was about Andy Nazer. (Andy also took over Andy's # 1 which crisp used to sing).

In 2001 we rerecorded it along with an attempt at playing it backwards, the idea is that if you reverse the forwards version it will sound like the backwards version and visa versa....anyway we played it very badly by playing it too fast and getting the timing wrong in the chorus. But it nearly worked, it really was one of the hardest things I have had to play, doing backwards drum fills is a nightmare, and I realized after doing it for the second time that I needed to hit my snare in the chorus at the end of the beat and not the start, which is the main reason it all falls apart when flipped...so we planned to do it on a 7";, one side the actual performances and the other the reversed versions. I thought it was kind of made more entertaining up by the fact that you can actually grab your record deck and spin the thing the other way if you want to experiment.

Had someone been stupid enough to pay for this to be pressed we would have rerecorded it a third time. But we decided to release the second version in MP3 form back in 2004.

For the first time ever, I have included the V1 attempt as a bonus. (the forwards version that goes with this is on springloadedgames.bandcamp.com/album/rock-n-roll-expanded-edition )
