This song is about a famous guy who faked lots of UFO photos, and in particular a meadow near his house that had weird magnetic properties post the fake alien visit...the songs full title would be "there's something about the weird magnetic signatures in the soil...it's all fake"

the guys name was Eduard Albert Meier, its funny because despite him telling everyone is was fake, those hardcore believers still "believe"...Obviously I was obsessed with UFO's for a while. I loved the pixies too, did I like the pixies more because of UFO's, or did I like UFO's more because of the Pixies? who knows, I think it's UFO's first....
